Facial Implants

Facial structure plays a key role in how we are perceived. Balanced and defined facial contours often enhance beauty and youthfulness. At Surgiderma Hospital, facial implant procedures are designed to correct underdeveloped or imbalanced facial features and restore natural harmony.

Whether due to genetics, injury, or the natural aging process, changes in facial volume or bone structure can affect your appearance. With facial implants, we can enhance facial symmetry, improve contour definition, and create a more balanced facial profile, tailored to your unique features.

Areas of Enhancement

Facial implants are specially designed to augment or restore contour to various areas of the face. Common areas treated include:

  • Chin (Mentoplasty) – Corrects a weak or receded chin to create balance with the nose and forehead.

  • Cheeks (Malar Augmentation) – Restores lost volume or adds prominence to the cheekbones.

  • Jawline – Enhances jaw width and definition, particularly beneficial for creating a sculpted lower face.

  • Lips – In selected cases, lip implants provide lasting fullness and structure.

Who Should Consider Facial Implants?

You may be a good candidate for facial implants if you:

  • Want more definition or volume in specific facial areas

  • Have facial asymmetry or congenital underdevelopment

  • Are in good overall health with stable weight

  • Prefer a permanent solution over temporary fillers

  • Seek facial harmony rather than overcorrection

Our plastic surgeons will assess your facial structure, expectations, and goals to determine the best approach.

The Surgical Process

Facial implant surgery at Surgiderma Hospital typically follows these steps:

1. Consultation and Planning

Your facial structure is evaluated, and imaging may be used to simulate potential results.

2. Anesthesia

Performed under local or general anesthesia, depending on the area and complexity.

3. Implant Placement

Small, hidden incisions are made—usually inside the mouth or under the chin—to insert and secure the implant.

4. Closure and Recovery

Sutures are placed, and recovery begins immediately post-procedure. You are usually discharged the same day.
